Welcome!

Is your favorite author Alexandre Dumas? Your favorite actor Errol Flynn? Do you love the movie Princess Bride? Do you have a more than casual interest in swords and swordplay? This club is for you!

Come out to our fencing club and study the traditional art of fencing as practiced by the masters of a bygone era. Learn footwork, attacks, parries, and swordsmanship with the basic foil. Study advanced foil techniques. Test your skills by sparring.  Advanced students learn sabre and epée technique as well.

WHEN:
Thursday nights, 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

AGES:
9 – Adult

WEAR:
Athletic clothing (sweats, shorts, t-shirt, etc.) and athletic shoes (preferably court shoes).

Each student is expected to purchase or otherwise acquire a starter set (mask, glove, jacket and sword), available through Triplette Competition Arms for $115.00 (including shipping).

COST:
GMAU dues of $6/session, but no more than $15/session for a family.
